Your role

We are now looking for a temporary planner for the Chemical Laboratory, operating within the Quality Service section in Kiruna. The Chemical Laboratory consists of three departments: Environmental, X-ray, and Wet Chemical. The Environmental Department is accredited according to the quality standard ISO 17025, and we have a strong focus on quality in all areas across all departments. As a planner, you play a key role in our operations. You are responsible for planning, prioritizing, and scheduling the work of the laboratory technicians, which requires you to be highly organized. The role also involves conducting risk assessments and monitoring daily work. Your social skills are crucial, as you will be a central part of the communication with both employees and internal customers. We continuously work on improvements to develop our operations, and we look for candidates who have a strong interest in leading and driving improvement initiatives. You report to the Production Manager, may step in as Acting Manager if needed, and participate in the Chemical Laboratory's management group. There are 17 employees in total at the Chemical Laboratory.

What you bring with you

• A high school education in natural sciences or technology is required.
• A B-category driver's license for manual transmission is required for all positions at LKAB.
• Experience in quality work or laboratory work is an advantage.
